Nmm not downloading mods

 · Nexus Mod Manager is a free and open software that enables you to download, tweak, and save your games. Now, many mods for Fallout 4 has been available. However, a lot of users encounter Fallout 4 mods not working when using Nexus Mode Manager on the game. I have both NMM and Vortex on my computer. I just started using Vortex for Skyrim Special Edition and every time I try to download a mod, it puts it on NMM and not Vortex. At first, you might ask, why not I just get rid of NMM. I do not want to get rid of NMM because I .  · Open NMM in administrator mod, open settings, uncheck and recheck "associate with NXM urls", then OK. In there, change the (Default) string value to Nexus Mod Download (or whatever you want to call it). Add another string value called URL Protocol. Leave the value empty. Add a key to nxm called DefaultIcon. Set the (Default) value to "C:\Path\to\topfind247.co,1". I did that too. The problem right now is that NMM seems to work then not work, on and off. It's strange. Right now it's working again. There's a "Download Manager" tab, next to "Mod Activation Queue" tab. When I used that to install the mods, it started working again.
